Whether you're striking a pose with your favorite nutcracker or capturing the sparkle of downtown Mebane, we want to see your most creative, cheerful, and spirited shots.

Each week, we’ll choose one winning photo to receive a $20 gift card to the downtown Mebane business of your choice (within our downtown district).  Thanks to Nicole Cockerham State Farm, for making these prizes possible and for supporting our downtown community!

Winners will be announced on our social media accounts and contacted directly.

 

All photos must be posted publicly and follow the weekly theme to be considered.

 

How to Enter

 

• Visit downtown Mebane and take a photo that fits the week’s theme.

• Post your photo on Instagram or Facebook.

• Tag us:  Instagram: @VisitDowntownMebaneFacebook: @VisitDowntownMebane

• Use the hashtag #MebaneNutcrackerStroll in your caption.

• Submit your post before Sunday at 11:59 PM each week to qualify.

 

You can enter multiple times throughout the contest—just make sure each post follows the weekly theme!

Get creative with a classic nutcracker selfie or group shot!

 

Week 2 (Nov 14–20):  Holiday Besties
Grab your bestie, partner, coworker or even your favorite shop owner and snap a nutcracker moment together.

 

Week 3 (Nov 21–27):  Festive Fits + Holiday Vibes
Show off your most festive outfit or cozy holiday accessories next to a nutcracker.

 

Week 4 (Nov 28–Dec 4):  Lights, Camera, Sparkle!
Capture the nutcrackers with holiday lights, window displays, or magical night scenes.

 

Week 5 (Dec 5–11):  Nutcracker Shenanigans
Stage a funny or unexpected photo, get playful with props or poses!

 

Week 6 (Dec 12–18):  Pets + Nutcrackers = Magic
Let your furry friend shine in a photo with one of our downtown nutcrackers.

 

Week 7 (Dec 19–31):  Most Magical Moment of the Season
Share your favorite, most heartwarming or magical downtown holiday photo.
